Massage Therapy

We use a range of safe and effective massage modes ranging from relaxing Swedish body massage to invigorating deep tissue, trigger point therapy and soft tissue release.

Swedish Body Massage

This is a softer, relaxing massage that uses oils directly on the skin, and a combination of gliding, tapotement and kneading movements to give a comfortable, soothing experience.

Trigger Point Therapy

An approach to massage that includes locating and removing adhesions or ‘knots’ of connective tissue to offer pain relief. Trigger Point Therapy is an effective solution to myofascial pain that can be administered throughout the whole body.

Soft Tissue Release

STR is an adaptable, dynamic and effective approach. Tight muscle fibres are ‘locked’ by the therapist using the appropriate pressure, a stretch is then applied either passively by the therapist or actively by the client and this localized lengthening will offer a powerful release to improve mobility and flexibility.

Deep Tissue Massage

A more aggressive form of massage used for sports performance or those carrying an injury in the superficial and underlying muscles and fascia. Expect elbows, forearms, rollers and 4 depth massage tools to be used - whatever it takes to remove adhesions and get you on the road to recovery!
