Matt studied Sports Science at College, before carrying on his education at the University of Bath where he studied Coach Education and Sports Performance. Whilst in Bath, Matt trained alongside Olympic Gold medal-winning athletes at one of the nations High Performance Centre's. A talented all-round sportsman, Matt has enjoyed success in a range of sports to county and regional level, but most noticeably in Athletics in which he has competed for the Great Britain International Team. Most recently, Matt has been working closely with people affected with Multiple Sclerosis, by undertaking home sessions and group classes as well as working alongside the local councils and NHS to ensure his clients are recieving full support where necessary. He also works closely with a range of clients of various age groups requiring weight loss regimes, therapy for arthritis, treatment for Guillain-Barre Syndrome and sciatica/back pain treatment. Matt has also been coaching multi-sports activities at primary schools as well as working alongside P.E. Department's to forward the athletic capabilities of students in secondary schools. |
